May 7, 2020 - (document link) - Local health authority closes all Tom Green County parks, beginning May 7 at 6 p.m. and running through May 31, 2020  

May 1, 2020 - (document link) - Local health authority order: prohibits congregation of guests within common areas at hotels, motels RV and camping facilities.

April 30, 2020 - (document link) - Local health authority order: states some entertainment/recreational facilities are still closed; rescinds several previous orders including limiting occupancy of stores and requiring masks; regulations on golf courses; and removing a requirement that masks be worn in public settings to recommending masks being worn. The local health authority also added a provision requiring any public/private/commercial employers within Tom Green County report COVID-19 tests to the Tom Green County Health Authority. 

April 30, 2020 - (English document linkSpanish document link) - Extending our declaration to follow Governor Abbott’s direction. Today we passed an order that continues the declaration of disaster in the City of San Angelo. Of particular note in the order is the reopening of the KOA walking trail on Hillside Drive. Parking will be limited to prevent congregating. This will take effect Monday, May 4, at midnight. The order also allows the City to continue to waive late fees for water utility payments through May 31.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Angelo, Texas, at its meeting to commence at 8:30 A.M. on May 5, 2020, at the McNease Convention Center, 500 Rio Concho Drive, City Council Chambers, San Angelo, Texas, tentatively proposes to adopt an ordinance authorizing the issuance of interest bearing certificates of obligation, in one or more series, in an amount not to exceed $20,000,000 for paying all or a portion of the City's contractual obligations incurred in connection with (i) constructing and improving streets, roads, alleys, bridges and sidewalks including related utility relocation, drainage, signalization, landscaping, screening walls, lighting and signage; and (ii) legal, fiscal and engineering fees in connection with such projects.  The ordinance may authorize an authorized officer of the City to effect the sale and delivery of the certificates of obligation on a date subsequent to the adoption of the ordinance.  The estimated interest rate for the certificates is 2.65% per annum, the maximum maturity date for the certificates is February 15, 2040, and the estimated combined principal and interest required to pay the certificates to be authorized on time and in full is $27,474,707.  The current principal of all outstanding debt obligations of the City is $158,610,000.00.  The current combined principal and interest required to pay all outstanding debt obligations of the City on time and in full is $188,672,569.88.  The City proposes to provide for the payment of such certificates of obligation from the levy and collection of ad valorem taxes in the City as provided by law and from a limited pledge of surplus revenues of the City's waterworks and sewer system, remaining after payment of all operation and maintenance expenses thereof, and all debt service, reserve, and other requirements in connection with all of the City's revenue bonds or other obligations (now or hereafter outstanding), which are payable from all or any part of the net revenues of the City's waterworks and sewer system.  The certificates of obligation are to be issued, and this notice is given, under and pursuant to the provisions of V.T.C.A., Local Government Code, Subchapter C of Chapter 271.
