City no longer using SlideShare,
posting all documents on new website

Citizens wanting to view and download large documents, presentations and other files – such as the background materials for each City Council meeting – are now able to do so on the City’s all-new website at

Limitations of prior website prevented users from accessing large files such as City Council agenda packets. City staff used SlideShare to upload large documents and PowerPoint presentations as an alternative to ensure such documents were accessible to the public.

Earlier this month, the City launched the new site at Developed by Vision Internet and a team of City employees, the site is able to accommodate files of all sizes.

The City will maintain its SlideShare account so materials from March 1, 2011, to Jan. 7, 2014, can be accessed, but new documents will not be posted to the account.
