Post Date:10/29/2019 1:46 PM

The Concho Valley Homeless Planning Coalition (in collaboration with local churches and the Salvation Army) is introducing a new program called "Out of the Cold," which will provide homeless individuals and families with a warm place for the night and a meal voucher when the temperature is 35 degrees or colder.

Those without homes who are interested in participating must meet at the Salvation Army San Angelo church area (122 West 2nd St.) by 4:30 p.m. when the temperature is anticipated to drop to 35 degrees or lower.

The program is in place today. For more information call Stan Carr at the Salvation Army at 214-417-3128.
