The awards were won in categories that included the state’s metropolitan offices. The videos can be viewed at youtube.com/CityofSanAngeloTx and on SATV, Suddenlink channel 17.

The awards were announced at a dinner in Denton at TAMIO’s annual conference. Communications Director Anthony Wilson serves as the organization’s treasurer; he helped plan the conference, facilitated two panel discussions, and introduced three speakers.

An affiliate of the Texas Municipal League, TAMIO provides professional development for public information officers, and promotes active cooperation and the exchange of information and ideas among its membership.
